Mt Morris Race Report
While Chad Reed was out front grabbing the victory local rider Ronnie Stewart was making his National debut. As the 36th fastest 450 rider in morning timed qualifying Stewart was able to skip the LCQ and proceed directly into the National Program. Finishing 26-24 for 24th overall. Other riders signed up for 450 competition, Anthony Roth, Bryan Wallace, Ryan Gainey and Todd Stavac missed the qualifying cut and could not advance via the LCQ.
In 250 class racing Adam Blessing was less than 2 second off the pace in timed qualifying and missed the final cut in LCQ action.
Dakota Kessler was planning on making his Pro Debut at Mt Morris but an unfortunate vehicle accident on the road heading west to Pennsylvania halted the trip. It is our understanding that no one was injured in the accident but the same could not be said for the motorhome.
Stay tuned to NJ Motocross for more National reports as the season progresses.
