NJ Motocross had the opportunity to test the Go Pro on July 19th with local expert racer Chris Chomko. Rather than use the conventional helmet mount we tried the Chest Mount Harness for a slightly different perspective. The harness is available separately for $39.99 and worth every penny. It gives a totally different look to your video as your arms and handlebars are in view rather than just the tip of your visor as with just the helmet mount.

The video, stored on a small memory card, is easily uploadable to You Tube and other websites and would be a great way to show your family and friends what it is like out there.

NJ Motocross highly recommends the Go Pro Hero Motorsports camera. It is available from your local dealer for $199.99 and grab the Chest Mount too while you are there.

Additional Note: If you would like to try the camera and chest mount stop by and see me at any Raceway Park or Thunder in the Sand event and I’ll be happy to lend it to you for practice. Keep in mind though once you try it you’ll want one of your own.
