NJ / Tri-State Championship Qualifier Race- POSTPONED (again) & RELOCATED
- NJ’s Tri-State Qualifier Race will now be held at Hurricane Hills 10/31/09
- Tri-State Championship Race will still be held at Hurricane Hills 11/1/09
Due to the horrible weather forecast (yet again) we have elected to postpone the NJ/Tri-State Championship Race which was due to be held on Saturday, October 24th at Raceway Park. Because we already have events scheduled at Raceway Park the next two weekends, and because District 6 rules do not allow us to run on non-scheduled Sunday’s, we will not be able to host this year’s NJ State/Tri-State Qualifier event.
Since the NJ State Championship event is a qualifier for the Tri-State Championship, the race must be held to advance the top 20 qualifiers to the Championship round. The only way we are able to accomplish this is to do the following:
The NJ Qualifier for the Tri-State Championship Race will now be held at Hurricane Hills on Saturday, October 31st. The top 20 overall finishers from this day will join the other 40 qualified racers (top 20 from NY and PA State Championships) to compete for all the glory at the Tri-State Championship Race (which will also be held at Hurricane Hills) on Sunday, November 1st.
Please visit the Hurricane Hills website at www.hhmotocross.com for all the details of the Tri-State Championship final Qualifier and Championship Race to be held October 31 and November 1.
Raceway Park’s remaining events will be the QUAD ONLY Tri-State Championship Race on Sunday, November 1st (for the top 13 qualified racers from the NY, NJ, & PA State Championship Quad races). And our final motocross event of the year will be Saturday, November 7th which is our Rider Appreciation Day (offering free practice, free dinner BBQ, and free awards ceremony) and Sunday, November 8 will be the final MX race of the year. We wish you all the best at the Tri-State Qualifier and Championship Race, and look forward to seeing you at our final event weekend of the year, November 7-8.

Many of you have seen the little tab sticking out from under the backside of the pros helmets and wondered what it was. Well it is the Helmet Eject System by Shock Doctor.
The system whose use is required by all racers competing in any Monster Energy Supercross or Lucas Oils National event. The same technology used by the pros can now be used by you as well.

The system is actually quite simple consisting of a small bladder that sits inside the top of your helmet. In fact it is so small it doesn’t interfere with the fit at all. After a crash the bladder is easily inflated by trained EMT/first responders by using a squeeze bulb or CO2 cartridge, lifting the helmet from your head reducing the risk of further aggravating any potential neck injury. (*EMT/first responders must be trained on proper use of the Eject System.)

**** RIDER APPRECIATION DAY UPDATE ****
After juggling a few schedules we have changed (again) the Rider Appreciation Day. The new day is Saturday November 7, 2009 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. This will also help out riders with work and school. In addition to that the regular AMA insurance will apply, no AARA insurance requirement.
The Food and Awards will also move to November 7, 2009 starting @ 5:00pm for food, 6:00pm for 2009 the Awards.
This Saturday October 24, 2009, will the the NJ State Motocross Championship Race And Tri-State qualifier as rescheduled.
