First,thanks for the double duty of Bel Ray news and NJ MX
Second, Do you know that RPMX is only 10 years younger (75) than RP Drag strip (65)
. Everyone thinks the MX came so long after. RPMX has to be one of the oldest MX tracks of it’s kind in the country. Wally

J&R also sponsored Micky Kessler back in the day. Ralph Bernstein and Bill Kravec were the gent’s who ran the shop. Ralph was a genius in his ability to make motorcyles and other mechanical things work better.Bill stops by on occasion and is married to A fine woman named Charlene. His knees are giving him trouble (as are mine) and he is as sharp as ever.
I count my days as a customer/rider for J&R as very good days indeed.

Scott I love this site especially the old Raceway News stories. I remember this shop conviently next to a strip club. This shop was in Red Bank at one time. Last week I saw pictures of you from the 1980′s and now I remember you, we rode novice together you Woodbridge Kawi and I was out of Wheelhouse Kawi of Point Pleasant. Again great site I was always interested in Jersey based mx news. Thanks Matt 115
