Join us for a fun filled, action packed day on us! That’s right, Raceway Park’s rider appreciation day will offer a FREE day of riding followed by FREE food at our awards ceremony, and will offer FREE prizes for showing up! How does this day work? Simply come to the track Saturday, November 7th, pay your race fees at the gate as you normally do (for Sunday’s race, Nov. 8th), sign up at the tower for Sunday’s race, and you will receive a wristband to ride the race track for FREE! Truly a FREE DAY OF RIDING!!! It is sure to be an awesome day with free riding, free food, free door prizes and giveaways, free entertainment and more! It’s all happening Saturday, November 7th at our 4th Annual Rider Appreciation Day & Awards Ceremony!

Everyone is quick to criticize in society today. Raceway Park canceled this weekends events very early in the weekend and they get slammed on the message board for it. WHY??? It’s not like they can control the weather and I for one am glad they canceled early enough for me to make alternate plans for my weekend. How about for once someone says Thank You for keeping the sport alive…
How many million dollar homes would fit on the Raceway Park property? Don’t you think if they were just “in it for the money” they would have cashed in a long time ago?
Here is a little of what is said on the District 6 message board about this weekend’s events.

“Guys if we could run a Sunday event, we would be on it. We work closely with other districts and as good partners respect their schedules. As for the free day AMA has guidelines we must follow and the practice day in a normal situation is not the day AFTER the race. As for the AARA insurance we are a service portal only, we fill out the forms make the cards, file the forms and send them to the company grossing a big fat zero for all that. Yes we are a business but if you think about the two dozers ( several hundred thousand dollars ) operator/groomer, water reserves, huge pumps, EMTS, security, maintenance staff, 8-10 flaggers ETC….you get my drift. This is what it takes for us to open the gates its not like your average storefront. The owners who pay my check have bikes and love the sport and that’s a big reason that we fight the battle daily with the township and the insurance companies the legal issues, again you get my drift….so don’t hate unless there is a good reason..its not all about the greenbacks my friends. A beautiful double or triple beats a long term storage building every time!!!!

Attention Motocrossers:
Due to the horrible forecast for this weekend, Raceway Park has decided to POSTPONE the Rider Appreciation Day (Free Ride Day) and NJ State Championship/Tri-State Qualifier Race. We will now hold the FREE PRACTICE on Friday, October 23rd at the Raceway Park Practice Track. Racers will park at the practice track, pay their race fees at the practice track, and get a wrist band to ride for free from 12 noon to dusk. The NJ State Championship & Tri-State Qualifier will now be held the following day, Saturday, October 24th. The free dinner & awards ceremony will also take place Saturday, October 24th, immediately following the race from approximately 6-9pm.
The new Rider Appreciation /Awards Ceremony & NJ State / Tri-State Qualifier schedule will be as follows:
Friday, October 23rd FREE PRACTICE (Held on Practice Track) from 12-Dusk
Race track gates open from 6-10pm
(No early sign up)
Saturday, October 24th NJ State Championship & Tri-State Qualifier
– Gates open at 7am, Practice 8:30, Racing 10:30
Free BBQ Dinner from 6-7pm
Awards Ceremony 7-9pm
Please note- Riders participating in Friday practice must have AARA insurance. If riders’ don’t have insurance, the $40 practice fee will be waived, but $65 AARA card must be purchased. The card will be good for one year from the date of purchase.

Due to the inclement weather forecast, this Saturday’s Rider Appreciation Day and Awards Ceremony have been canceled. The Free Ride Day and Awards ceremony willbe rescheduled and the date will be announced soon.
With regards to Sunday’s NJ State Championship and Tri-State Qualifier, the race is ON as scheduled. Should that change, we will update this message and the RacewayPark website as soon as possible.
